They found a 14-minute no-budget f/f xianxia web short that I liked the look of but couldn't understand, and I pouted my cute little monolingual face at them with no ulterior motives whatsoever, and then...they subbed it for me. In a matter of days! Amazing.
Okay, I made myself the main character of that story, but the video and engsubs are available to you, as well! Get at em.
Elevatorish pitch: Xiao Rufeng is a stoic badass demonic cultivator of great power, and Ye Xiaoqi is a tiny dork with a big sword, and Xiao Rufeng panics with her entire spine when Ye Xiaoqi hugs her.
The fight scenes are delightful, the romance is tropey, everything looks surprisingly good, and I ship these two an inordinate amount given the very short runtime I had in which to bond with them. Plus, there's blood-spitting. No prize for guessing who does it. You need more ancient Chinese lesbians in your life! These two, specifically! Go, go watch it!
