Pretty much agree with you on all counts! (Except for Kanjian. I don't mind him, but as far as secondary characters on Wu Xie's team go, I have been fond of Liu Sang since his first appearance and I'm holding out to see him again, grumpy little weirdo that he is.)
Warehouse 11 ended up feeling like one of my plottier morning dreams. It's just like one of those dreams where you know you have to do A, but in order to do A you have to do B first, and then somebody distracts you into doing C, and then...and by the time you wake up you're down around K or Q and you still haven't gotten A done, and...
One way and another, the warehouse arc just contained so much Wu Xie, being competent (for certain Warehouse 11-specific values of competent) and hurting a lot and just generally being beautiful, that I had a good time with it. Let's see what season 2 has to offer...
