Okay, that looks fairly similar to my outlines, when I have scene-by-scene outlines. It's just that I liberally smoosh them as I go.
Yes, there are so many different ways that people get good stories out, it's kinda awesome! It's helpful/necessary for me to get so fixated on the current thing that I'm always doing the thinking until it's complete (which I guess is partly why I have one WIP at a time and can't spare the brain for oneshots.)
Under most circumstances, yes, but I'm not sure the current WIP counts as cozy by any means. Lol, OMINOUS. Well, anything I've posted that's under 10K hasn't been very angsty, so...the second half of this alignment chart might be too wiggly.
